The Explorer tool-chest mod. 5140 can be set to properly contain the tools, spares and components that are required by the most demanding professionals of the maintenance in their operations. By using one of the many possible internal configurations and the wide range of accessories available you can choose your own set of drawers or boxes (see charts) to be carried and complement it by adding one of more of the optional accessories available to personalize your working experience.

SHOCK-PROOF BODY CONSTRUCTION AND LIGHT-WEIGHT
The ruggedized body construction made by using a patented copolymer with nano-tech particles grants unbeatable resistance to the Explorer tool-chest mod. 5140 while achieving a 30% weight reduction against competing products, all of that while being awarded IP67 waterproof, dustproof certifications, and proven deploy ability in severe temperature environments from -33 to +90 C°. Mil Stan tested and certified by independent accredited laboratory.
Robust side handles allow for practical handling of the box even when fully loaded and for secure, tight closing of it by mean of the many field-tested, double-action latches.
The recently upgraded trolley handle, now even more reliable with its thicker black metal extrusions and larger grip handle, as well as the four silent and long-lasting wheels, allow for this box to be carried and shipped worldwide, used for all sort of maintenance in the most demanding environments.
The many padlock able points, reinforced with metal rings, grant proper securing of the content of the box by using one of our exclusive Explorer padlocks, engineered to sit flush with the frontal surface of the box, thus preventing possible damages during airport handling and transportation; alternatively, you may use it with any commercially available or military padlock and seal.
All key parts of this tool-chest, such as handles, latches, wheels, are available as spare parts and are field replaceable.

THE MODULARITY OF THE DRAWERS AND BOXES CREATE ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES
Combining the Explorer tool-chest mod. 5140 with its drawers (AIDRAW) or boxes (AIBOX) creates the possibility to bring the maintenance activities to a new level of efficiency. The modular engineering of the interior of the chest allows for a maximum of 8 drawers or 7 boxes to be carried within (see charts); at the same time, extra sets of those containing specific sets of parts or accessories can be stored separately and added at a later stage, allowing for an efficient upgrading of the necessary sets of materials without the need of replacing the chest, thus creating an integrated logistic solution for the management of tools, spare and components.

THE EXCLUSIVE ADD ON CAPABILITIES OF RF-ID AND NFC INTEGRATIONS
The embedded RF-ID and NFC chips create additional possibilities of use for the Explorer tool-chest mod. 5140.
The two passive chips are embedded in the frontal part of the box, irremovable and tamper proof.
The RF-ID allows for seamless integration with simple or complex asset management infrastructure, while the NFC, combined with the use of our proprietary App INTELLIRESPOND (available for free download to our customers on IOS and Android app stores) allows for interactive tool inventory and many other practical services to have always under control the content of the chest.
